Established in 2015, we are a full-service PR & social media agency. We have clients around the world and each relationship is unique. For some clients, we are their fully-outsourced marketing department, whereas, for others, we work with their team to provide one or two services for them. We connect with each potential client to understand what is happening in their business in order to make a custom plan of services that will help them reach their goals.

Position Overview

This internship will average 10-15 hours a week and is fully remote. The term of the internship is one semester with the potential for extensions. We are looking for a qualified intern to join our team. Interns at True Story get the opportunity to participate in real projects for current clients, getting tangible experience that will be highly valuable for your portfolio. You will be responsible for assisting with content creation, blogs, graphics, influencer campaigns, social media, email marketing, and more. You will also be responsible for executing our best engagement practices to ensure growth on social platforms.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is: Currently enrolled in college studying public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, business, or media (exceptions made upon request). Available to work part-time (10-15 hours per week). Exhibits the ability to independently complete tasks, while still knowing when you need to ask for help. Strategically problem solve and work quickly. Organization and time management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. A strong understanding of brand identity, typography, layout, and illustration design skills. Understand how graphics work in marketing materials, blog content, and website content. Ability to collaborate and contribute to a team effort, but also an ability to work independently.
