Meet Jana Clark

Meet Jana:

Jana is a senior at Manhattan College majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a double minor in Environmental and Religious Studies. Jana is originally from a small town in Germany but moved to New York for her undergraduate studies. Her hobbies include working out, photography, being involved on campus, and hanging out with friends in the city.

Jana has previously interned for the Fresh Air Fund as a communications intern where she conducted outreach to FAF families and participants during the pandemic. She also interned for a local political campaign in the Bronx, where she learned that politics was not the field for her.

Fun fact:  Jana was a nanny for a year during Covid and continues to babysit for families around the Bronx as a side job.

Talk Travel with Jana:

Favorite US city: New York City. NYC has to be my favorite US city because there is always a new part of the city to explore or a new restaurant to try. It is impossible to get bored while living or traveling there!

Place I’d like to travel: Japan. It has always been my dream to travel to Japan because it is unlike any culture I’ve ever been exposed to. I love stepping outside of my comfort zone and I think traveling to Japan would give me the perfect opportunity to do that, plus, the cuisine is to die for!

Favorite city abroad: Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the place I’ve traveled to the most often. The beautiful countryside and quaint city never gets old as there is so much to do and see without being overwhelmed.
